Limited Planning & Zoning Staff March 23rd - March 27th

Our office is operating with a very limited staff Monday, March 23rd - Tuesday, March 24th, and staff will be out of the office from Wednesday, March 25th - Friday, March 27th.

Normal operations will resume on Monday, March 30th.

All questions, applications, and general inquiries received during this time will be addressed in the order received upon staff’s return.

PLEASE NOTE:

• The deadline for submission for the April Planning & Zoning meeting has passed.
• Applications for the May Planning & Zoning meeting are due by Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM (noon).

IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION:

APPLY FOR DEVELOPMENT PERMIT PRIOR TO APPLYING FOR BUILDING PERMIT

(NO APPLICATIONS OR REQUIRED DOCUMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED VIA EMAIL)

You may apply online at: building.franklincountyflorida.gov

1. Click “Apply for Permit” at the top of the page
2. Select the CitizenServe Online Portal
3. Hover over the “Services” tab and select “Development Project”
4. Click “Apply Online”
5. Project Type: Development Project
6. Proceed with the application and provide all applicable information

The more information provided, the better. Incomplete packets will delay permit issuance.
